Just found out that my home town of Crane Texas lost one of the best men that I've known! I always remember the times i spent at the fire department that my dad volunteered at, Charlie Hyche was always around and always used to show, teach, and talk to me about so many different things! He was truly one of the men in crane that in my 14 years there that i will always remember as not only a man that could cook the heck out of some fajitas but more importantly a man that i could look up to and strive to be as good man as he was. You will always be remembered by me and my family. Ill see you someday in heaven my friend! We love you Charlie Hyche.

Charley was a good one -- loved his school and his community. Always a character in High School -- lumbering around the hallways giving us under classman heck. Our prayers are with the family. L.V. Tennison

My deepest sympathies to the family. I went to high school with Charlie and he was a keen competitor especially in basketball. Over the years he always had time to say hello and ask about my family. He will be missed.

Vanetta, my heart just breaks for you and the kids on the untimely passing of Charley. No words can help ease the pain nor can anyone understand because they haven't walked a mile in your shoes. All we can do is pray for God's strength, peace, love and mercy to be your comfort and your guide and let you know you are not alone. Please know you are loved and I am here if you need me. Love, Donna and Ricky Beardslee
